Fuel Tank Inerting System (FTIS)

For many years’ aviation operations taking place in difficult or high threat environments have recognised the need for increased protection form the risk of fuel tank explosion caused by lighting strike, projectile impact and in the event of an aircraft crash. Imaging Systems FTIS (Fuel Tank Inert System) is the first Inerting system to be certified by EASA for use in civil registered aircraft. FTIS is a valuable piece of aircraft safety equipment which not only reduces the risk of fire, it increase's the reaction time of the aircrew to eliminate the threat.
